One of my favourites from the collection, this photo, taken in 1971, features Jenny Clemesha (hostess of "Woman's World") absorbed in the pottery skilles of an unknown fellow who, we believe, is in the process of making one killer bong, dude.

Featuring the glorious vocals of one, Digger Revell, The Denvermen were the soundtrack to the surfin' Sydney youth of the very early Sixties. There is so much to admire in this photo; the slant of the tom tom, some great guitars, the shiny boots (and the almost mathmatically aligned arrangement thereof), the hands on shoulders, the drummer's smile, the rivets on his cymbal and of course Digger's magnificent trousers.

One of the classic Australian Country Groups, The Outcasts featured from left- Harry, Wilga, Bill, Debbie and Ian. Track down Clinton Walker's wonderful Book (not to mention CD and Video) called "Buried Country" for an overview of the fantastic history of this country's indigenous country scene. By the way, anyone got photos of other great Aboriginal music stars like Vic Simms or Roger Knox???

One of the most critically acclaimed groups to emerge from West Australia, The Triffids are captured here in a publicity photo for The White Label sometime in the early 80's. This photo features their one time manager and percussionist, Simon (The Tact) Cromack and is the line up that supported Russell Morris at the Bombay Rock in 1982 trivia fans!. Their records are now available through the Domino Label.

This is probably from around the time of their "A Toast To Panama Red" album recorded down the road at Abbey Road (though I could be mistaken).
